About the Role

Join Kate Gottlieb, Managing Partner of The Marella Group, in a hands-on role supporting brand scouting, outreach, and content strategy across New York City’s most exciting emerging neighborhoods. This opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about retail, cultural brands, and the future of NYC districts.

What You’ll Do

Trend Research Identify more than 10 emerging brands each week across categories such as fitness, beauty, retail, wellness, and coffee
Social Outreach Craft direct messages, engage with brand founders, and initiate contact via Instagram and TikTok
Walkthroughs Accompany Kate on site visits to scout potential locations and capture on-location content
Content Creation Assist with filming and editing short-form video content for outreach and storytelling (e.g., Reels and TikToks)
CRM and Scheduling Update lead information in Pipedrive and support follow-up communications and scheduling

You're a Great Fit If You

  • Have a strong awareness of NYC lifestyle, wellness, and retail trends

  • Communicate confidently in a polished yet approachable tone

  • Are familiar with Instagram and TikTok and excited to help create content

  • Are proactive, organized, and detail oriented

  • Are curious about entrepreneurship, real estate, and brand development

  • Are based in NYC and available one to two days per week for in-person fieldwork
